The majority of the music produced by Orton Emme is more suited to the 'musically mature audience' who aren't naïve and narrow-minded when it comes to different musical genres. Those people who aren't seduced by the latest boy band or Crazy Frog mimics. It is aimed at those people that actually care about good music and go out of their way to find it, not just listen to what's brought to them on the monotony of the radio and music channels. Non-Pop yet not abstract and not something too non-commercial that the general population won't like it. Good, solid music with some depth and emotion thrown in.

The targeted audience for this music would typically be from around 18-35 years who can appreciate music that doesn’t follow rules set by pop music producers and other genres of massive commerciality. Although the main intention of this music isn’t to catch only the attention of the non-commercial market the music produced by Orton Emme isn’t too eclectic and in such an unfamiliar style to not be enjoyed by the general public.
